Our Roots...

Sea Beans Studio opened in September 2005, as the happy result of a successful home based business. 

The name "Sea Beans" came from a column in Coastal Living Magazine.  It struck a chord with me for two reasons...my love of the coast and my late daughter's nickname "Beans".  As a bonus, it turns out, sea beans are a sign of good luck and longevity.  Customers are encouraged to take a complimentary "lucky" sea bean from our collection.

When Sea Beans Studio was first conceived, my image of what the shop should look like was a cozy space that was charming, cheerful, fun, fresh, relaxed and  inspiring.  I wanted  Sea Beans Studio to remind you of the endearing little shop you wandered into on vacation and fell in love with. The one that stood out as having an amazing assortment of unique and wonderful gifts.  I hear frequently that Sea Beans reminds people of Nantucket, Martha's Vineyard, Cape Cod,and the Maine coast. I'm happy to say... Mission accomplished!
